My students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions!
They love to come to my computer lab setting and learn with computer science tools that are not available in their home or regular classroom. It allows all the students to be successful with multiple types of assessment for the same assignment.
They absolutely love hands-on, active, engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to learn, explore, and try new things so they can grow both mentally, emotionally, and academically.
My students are always involved, excited, and imaginative; my students are eager to immerse themselves in any kind of Computer Science challenge or STEAM/STEM activity.
My Project
These Kindle Fires will continue to enhance the Computer Science classroom that I strive to create. My classroom is a place that my students really enjoy-I provide them with multiple Computer Science learning opportunities, they complete STEAM activities, and they learn to problem solve independently and with classmates! Every Kindle that is in my classroom is treated with care, and they are thankful for the opportunities to get to investigate through the use of Kindle Fires and other CS technology.
With these Kindle Fires, my students will be able to choose from a variety of Computer Science activities, along with STEAM that will allow them to become problem solvers of the future.
My students already have shown an extraordinary interest in Computer Science, and this project will only help enrich their experiences with technology.
