Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Do you remember the old chalkboard and whiteboard? Well times have changed! Technology is being used all around the world, and my students would like to take advantage of that and use it in their classroom.
My students are high active learners who thrive to be motivated and seek knowledge.
They are eager to learn. They come from many different kinds of multicultural backgrounds. They attend a large kindergarten-8th grade elementary school located in northern California.
My Project
Having an LCD projector and portable document camera will enforce the use of technology in the classroom. This technology equipment will help my students in a variety of ways. They can become more motivated, increase their self-esteem, become more actively involved by participating, acquire a skill in technology, and collaborate more with their peers. They will be able to use this equipment in all subject areas, especially areas with more difficult concepts, such as science, math, and social studies, to help view documents, visuals, and activities more clearly. They will learn more about different subject areas such as science, social studies, math, and language arts.
This project is very important and will make a HUGE impact and difference in my students' lives.
They will have a clearer understanding of different subject areas with clear visuals and different media and be able to make use of technology in the classroom. They will not have to rely on just books to help make difficult concepts clearer. This project will open up their eyes to different aspects of the world they may be unfamiliar with.
