My students are in a full time ICT second grade classroom. Many of my students come from low-income families. Several are English language learners. There are a few that come from single-parent (or single-grandparent) households.
All of my students are unique individuals who are always eager to learn and be engaged in exciting activities.
My diverse second graders come from a variety of backgrounds and have different needs and wants.
All of my students are eager to learn with open minds, ready to be filled with knowledge.
Our class has become their second family. They are very energetic and enjoy working with each other, love projects, and strive to do their best All in all, they are a group of awesome kids!
My Project
Our classroom needs ink so that we can print out student resources as well as student created work. My students all learn on different levels. Each lesson I create needs to be differentiated to meet the learning needs of my students. Most of my lessons have two or three groups working at a different level on the same task. In order for me to do this, I need to create my own worksheets that can tailored to meet my students needs.
Being able to create differentiated materials for each child so that they can all complete the same task at their own level makes a huge difference in the way that they learn.
