We love to learn! These students can't wait to see what school and the world have in store for them and are so enthusiastic about learning! They are highly active and very energetic. They love to be hands-on and communicate with one another.
Our classroom is filled with 25 bright, beautiful, and blooming first graders who have a thirst for learning as much as they can each and every day.
Our classroom is located in Western Pennsylvania.
In our room, it feels comfortable, looks bright, and has constant movement, just the way we like it! It is an environment that welcomes all children and they love being here! I love it, too!
My Project
This is a project that we are super excited about! Animals are all around us. It is important to show care and appreciation towards animals. To help foster this love, we are asking for animal books, both fiction and non-fiction, to learn more about them! The more that students know about them, the easier it is for them to see that we need to care for them.
The book pouches are going to help students build a strong home- school connection.
Students will take these books home once a week and read them to their families. The books that we are requesting are at a variety of reading levels which is sure to meet the needs of all learners in our classroom.
Once we get this project funded, students will also have the opportunity to choose one of the books and create an animal report to share with their classmates. This will once again help students develop a love for animals when they hear all of the amazing and interesting facts about them!
