I teach second-graders in one of the best rural schools in Oklahoma! My students are amazing, inquisitive, and eager to learn. Although some may have difficult lives, my students come to school with smiles on their faces. They are supportive and cheer each other to success. Half of them go to Title I reading, 30 minutes every day, for extra help.
My students are special because they have curiosity, creativity, compassion, and positive attitudes.
They are leaders who show love, compassion, kindness, and bravery. They are truly amazing people. My school is wonderfully supportive of the active, hands-on learning that we do in our classroom. I couldn't ask for a better environment for these students. We are truly a community!
My Project
This project is for four TeachersPayTeachers gift cards. I am running out of money trying to pay for interactive materials for my students to learn virtually. Frankly, I think my students are suffering because of this. These TeachersPayTeacher gift cards will allow me to access materials that I can use to teach my students during live Zoom sessions and through Google Classroom. I can purchase interactive Google Slides' activities from TPT, upload the interactive lesson, and have my students split their screen. I love having my students collaborate on the same Google Slide during live sessions so I can see how they are learning. I can also purchase materials using these three TPT gift cards and assign them to my students through my Google Classroom. These can be graded, such as Google Forms, and will allow me to see how my students are mastering each skill.
