Help me give my students more opportunities and maximize the effectiveness of instruction by supplying their classroom with paper, pens, markers, laminating pouches, and printer ink.
This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
The PreK-2 students at my school are inquisitive, appreciative, and educational sponges. These students have the capability to be world changes and soak up new experiences when given the opportunity.
These students pull at my heart because they come from a community of low socioeconomic backgrounds lacking in experiences.
I see so much potential in these students, and I want to provide much needed background knowledge and opportunities to feed their inquisitive minds. What I love about the students at my school is that they do not take their learning for granted, and they are capable of being world changers when given the opportunity.
My Project
The pens, chart paper, printer paper, printer ink, and laminating pouches will be used for instructional needs. We do a lot of paired and shared writing instruction along with phoneme/grapheme instruction that will utilize these types of supplies. The laminating pouches and dry erase markers will allow the students to practice over and over again to build fluency in their reading and writing.
These basic supplies will help maximize instruction and make it more effective.
. . the basics will make the curriculum anything but basic! These much needed classroom supplies can help in so many instructional ways that impact student learning!
