We Need Working Equipment and Word Study Materials

My students need headphones so they can participate in our required computer programs that assist with reading, spelling, and comprehension. They need whiteboards for our word study, spelling, and handwriting lessons.

My Students

Our students all come from a variety of different economic backgrounds and experiences . They are always excited to come to school and learn, despite challenges facing them.

I love teaching these kids and watching them excel in reading and math.

My students are 6/7 years old who are energetic and eager to reach their goals. This year they have already grown tremendously in their reading and comprehension levels. I could not be prouder of how far they have come.

My Project

Our class desperately needs working over the ear headphones. They need these for several computer programs including our I-station program that assists with reading, reading comprehension, and spelling. They are required to take an assessment monthly on this program and several students in my class use this daily to help build their skills. The headphones will also be used in math and literacy stations daily that helps my classroom incorporate technology into their day.

We will use the lined dry erase boards with our word study curriculum.

We would use these daily! The lines will be very helpful for them to form their letters correctly and help them with spacial awareness on the boards. My students would be able to fit more on them in an organized way without having to erase all the time.
