My students need water and snacks so we are not thirsty or hungry during the school day.

I teach a self-contained class of special education students. All of my students have learning goals that are specifically tailored to meet their unique learning needs. Our classroom has a dual task of exposing my students to the general education curriculum and providing practice and mastery of their IEP goals.
My highly structured and individualized classroom is the perfect place for my students to learn and grow.
My students are at least two years behind grade level so it is important for us to have the resources and tools ready to go, so we can meet their learning needs.
Earlier in the year our school decided to disconnect the water fountain in our hallway. All of the other classrooms have water fountains in their rooms, so their students are not left thirsty. Our classroom does not have a water fountain so my students are often thirsty.
I am asking for gallons of bottled water and snacks so my students have clean drinking water during our school day.
My students often say that they are thirsty and without a properly working drinking fountain I cannot give my students a chance to quench their thirst. I will use the bottled water in this project to fill my students water bottles. That way they will not be thirsty. I am also asking for snacks for my students. Often my students arrive to school late and they have missed breakfast. I would like to be able to offer then a snack to tide them over until lunch.
