This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Do you remember preparing your first science fair presentation and how excited you felt?

I currently teach 27 very sweet first graders in a Title I school located in a high poverty and high crime area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

All of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken.

My Project

The first grade students at my school are going to be in their first science fair this coming March. They are required to present their project on a trifold presentation board. My students and the other first grade class will be studying magnetic force. They will also be studying what floats and what doesn't float in water. In order for their displays to be the best that it can be, I am requesting trifold boards for my class and for the other first grade class.

Please help the first graders at my school create an awesome display for our first ever Science Fair.
