Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
You have taken time out of your busy day to show interest in my great students at my great school. My kids are amazing! A majority of my students face hard and stressful situations outside of school, which makes it harder for a lot of my students to be successful in the classroom. What I’m trying to say is that many of my kids rarely have the opportunity to feel proud of who they are.
After all the hardships that many of my students face in everyday life, they still attend school with smiles on their little faces and are ready to show me that they want to learn. I love my students, and this is why I need a little help.
My Project
Many of our students are having trouble utilizing their thinking skills and are not great problem solvers. These puzzles will help pull thinking skills and give my students the confidence to be strong problem solvers.
Many of my students have trouble dealing with failure when attempting to finish a project or assignment.
The puzzles will teach my children that it takes more than one attempt to solve problems.
When my students accomplish the different scenarios that are given in the puzzles, their self esteem will also rise because they accomplished what they started.
