This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My class is made up of 24 excellent third graders. They are so motivated and eager to learn.

Our school is Title 1 which means there is little money to purchase items for the classroom.

My class is comprised of 24 sweet, caring second graders. They all love school and they love to learn. The school community is very caring and appreciative as well.

My Project

Pencil sharpeners will be used on a daily basis for students to sharpen their pencils. You would not believe how often the average second grader needs to sharpen their pencils. Right now we use the little hand held plastic ones which result in pencil shavings everywhere!! We can't wait to have a powerful electric pencil sharpener.

These materials will be used by all students for many years to come.

We will greatly appreciate having these resources in our classroom. Every classroom deserves to have these basic supplies.
