We Need to Explore With All Our Senses!

Help me give my students a chance to play, explore, create and use their imaginations as they use different media to have engaged sensory time with classroom sensory boxes. These are for typically and atypically developing Kindergarten students.

My Project

My kindergarteners are both typically and atypically developing students, and are the absolute best kids. They are fun, curious, smart explorers. We need lots of different items for sensory boxes. These are boxes that have different tactile items in them, like fuzzy pompoms, or instant snow, or rice, along with small toys like cars, trucks, plastic animals, or colored beads that they can explore and play with safely. I have both typically developing and atypically developing students and these are perfect for them to become de-sensitized to stimuli that may make them uncomfortable. This also helps kids to be able to play without any electronic items, thus helping develop their imaginations. These boxes can also have children play together, developing social skills and cues which can serve them all throughout life. The boxes are very valuable to young learners in the classroom, and we would greatly appreciate any help getting them. Thank you!
