My students love to come to school! I know that seems weird to say about high school students, but they love to come to learn new things, to see their friends, and for most, to get two warm meals.
My students come to school with smiles on their faces regardless of what has happened at home before they come to school.
We have about a 90% poverty level in the town in which I teach. My students become my kids, and I will do everything I can to help them.
My Project
Our room needs a dehumidifier to help it feel comfortable. Our air conditioner is not seeming to work properly, our room feels muggy and sticky.
Music helps us reenergize!
The speakers will be used in our class to get some energy going! The speakers will not only be used in my classroom but also in the school to help get school spirit going, all year!
The beef sticks, gum and mints will help the students get up and get some blood flowing! Protein will help get energy and the gum and mints will help stay awake!
The pencils will help with students who do not have the funds to purchase them as well as the ones whom forgot them. It is hard to complete task when you don’t have the correct equipment.
