My fifth graders are an amazing group of diverse students! They come from mostly middle-class and lower socio-economic households. My school is a Title I school with many students who qualify for assistance.
My students are eager to learn, love to be hands-on, and each one comes to me with a variety of individual needs.
It is my job to ensure that I am meeting their needs and challenging them academically. I know my students want to succeed!
Many of the materials that I am requesting are consumable. My students use glue, markers, crayons, and colored pencils frequently during my science and social studies class. Additionally, I am requesting privacy shields, headphones, construction paper, cardstock, a hot plate, two steel bowls, and other frequently used items.
We need help replenishing our consumable classroom supplies!
My classroom needs these basic items to be successful. My students sit at tables instead of desks, and privacy shields are desired to reduce distractions. I currently do not have enough working headphones in my class. My students and one to one with devices and need headphones. The hot plate and steel bowls will be used in science class to discuss states of matter and how matter is conserved.
