Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I have an amazing group of third grade STEAM magnet students. We enjoy challenging each other to grow mentally, physically, and emotionally.
My students are enthusiastic, creative, focused, and enjoy a hands-on approach to learning.
They are encouraged to take responsibility for their own learning and to have a positive mindset in everything they do. It's exciting that they come to school eager to learn. My students attend a Title I school in a low-income area. The entire school participates in a free breakfast and lunch program.
My Project
It's hard to believe that we are more than half way through third grade.
The materials I am requesting are meant to replenish much needed materials to continue my program and help us finish strong.
My students and I need essential supplies. I am limited in the number of pencils I can order at school, so the pack of 144 pencils will be wonderful since I need pencils for my own class as well as for my Math Academy students. The glue sticks are essential to my students since they glue throughout the day in every subject. The fine point dry erase markers are for my students to use on their individual white boards during math. I am also requesting chisel point white board markers to use on the white board at the front of the room.
And finally, the Stardust card stock and legal sized copy paper will be used for various art projects and STEAM projects I have planned for the coming months.
