Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students love to learn and when an activity seems hard, they love to try and ask questions. They come from low-income families that are mostly living pay check to pay check. With this virus going on, these parents are not working or are getting their pay cut down because no one is going out.

My students deserve to continue to learn at home.

My students are currently facing having to learn from home and are not able to do so because they do not have technology to use. Their families are struggling because they want to teach their children but are not able to do so because they do not have the money to buy a computer. Most of them are not even working because of this virus. Please help me help my students learn.

My Project

These tablets will help my students continue to learn while we are all doing our part and staying home. There are a lot of great resources for teachers and students online. My students would be able to access these resources on these tablets. They will be able to continue to learn, do activities and submit assignments. We are strongly encouraged to not use paper copies because the virus can transmit through paper, so using technology is one, if not, our only choice.

Please help me teach my students; Please help my students learn; and please help the parents help their children learn.

My students come from low-income families. My parents are worried that they won't be able to teach their children because they do not have the proper technology to do so.
