My students need stability ball chairs to help them keep focus and fidgeting to a minimum.

My Students

My students have various disabilities that make sitting in a typical classroom chair extremely difficult.

My students are 4th and 5th graders that are in a self contained special education room within a typical school setting.

Each of my students has individual needs that must be meet through sometimes nonconventional typical school materials that are provided.

My Project

Using the stability ball chairs will allow my students to be able to maintain extended focus on their school work while at their desks. Currently my students have extreme difficulty sitting in a chair without tipping it on two legs or turning it upside down. These chairs will provide them with immediate feedback on body awareness and the correct posture for sitting.

I am always looking for the best ways to meet my students needs.

Each student is a unique individual, but must still be able to contribute to the best of their ability within a typical school environment.
