Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I teach in the in-school emotional regulation room where students get sent after getting into trouble by either fighting with teachers or peers. My room gives our students a place to recover and recharge after these emotional incidents. This is a brand new room this year and I don't have a lot of money to spend on seating or snacks for the kids.

I need your help to make sure my room is a comfortable place for the students to decompress refuel and recharge, so they are able to get back to their classrooms and be ready to learn.
