My Students

We are a diverse group. We have many different socioeconomic and academic levels. I want them to have a "thirst for knowledge" and to have easy access to what they need. Students come to the library for many different purposes besides checking out books. They also visit to research information, access programs on tablets, and create with technology. They also are able to have access to a Makerspace. Our school services kids Pre K-6th grade and provides academics, a hardworking group of teachers and a safe learning environment. My elementary provides tremendous support for the teachers but most importantly, for the students and their families.

My Project

OSMO is the perfect interactive tool My students need two starter kits to enhance their reading and math skills. These kits would be very engaging for my students and would be a great resource for intervention and reinforcement. There are so many OSMO apps available for free to help meet these needs. With the kits, the students will be using logic and critical thinking. These OSMO kits will be used for all levels of learning. I strongly believe that learning must be fun, especially at such a young age. These kits will allow my students to enjoy learning on a daily basis!
