This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have just begun to write and draw about proper nutrition and exercise. My school doesn't have enough copy paper for us to print our Health books.

I currently teach 27 very sweet first graders in a Title I school located in a high poverty and high crime area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

All of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken.

My Project

I am requesting 4 boxes of copy paper in order for my students to have a sufficient amount of paper to print our ABC Nutrition Books. My school has no more paper to distribute to our classroom. Without this paper, we will not be able to make our books about healthy eating. We want to draw and illustrate about what foods are good for you. We will also be drawing and writing about exercising.

Please allow my first graders to be the best that they can me.

We would appreciate and love any support that you could give us. Without your support, we will be without paper in January.
