My students need books to work on novel studies to further support their literature needs. Currently, we do not have any of these resources.

My Students

Our school is in the little town of Williams, AZ. Our school serves students in grades K-8 and provides rigorous academics, fantastic teachers and a safe learning environment. Our goal is to prepare our students for success in high school and college.

I am a sixth and seventh grade Language Arts teacher.

I teach AZ state standards of reading, writing, and language arts to our students. My students learn best through motivation. I enjoy giving reinforcements to my students for making good choices.

My Project

My students will be able to use these books for future novel studies. We will be reading and writing about these books.

Currently, as a class we do not have any book to use for novel studies.

Many of our AZ state standards for Language Arts focus on literature. Also, I would love to expose my students to some great pieces of literature.

After state testing, many students enjoy working together on a novel study. As a teacher, it would be lovely to have two different novel studies going on at the same time and then be able to have students switch. Students remember great literature and that is just what these books would achieve.
