Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Energetic, inquisitive and amazing would be some of the adjectives that I would use to describe my third-grade students. This is my third year at my school and my classroom library, as well as art supplies, are needed. My kiddos love to read! And having more books in the classroom would have a positive impact on my students. Art has always been something that my students enjoy! This year especially I have several artists in my class! They have so much creativity when they have an avenue to express themselves!
My Project
Please help us improve our classroom library. These books will help students have more of an Assortment of books that they can chose from during their reading time. Students will benefit from having different books by engaging them to want to read! At our school we have The Accelerated Reading program. Students read books in their AR reading range and take a test on their story on the computer. They earn points and meet their checkpoints. These books will benefit immensely in offering my students a collection to chose from. Please help us build that love of reading for these kiddos!
