My Students

My students come from very diverse backgrounds and family situations. Our school is located in a small town that serves grades Kindergarten-sixth grade. My first graders range in age from 5 years to 7 years and are wonderful children!

They all have the desire to learn and succeed.

School provides my students with a place to feel safe and explore new things daily. I teach in a Title I school where more than half of my students are below poverty level. What my students may lack in resources, they more than make up in enthusiasm. They are curious learners and want to learn about their world.

My Project

My students love to write and tell their stories, edit their work, and publish their final paper. They also like being able to use the computer to type their finished projects. Sending home finished projects is a great way to help communicate with parents their hard work. Sharing their finished projects with their families gives them immense happiness.

We need ink to make this happen.

Providing students the opportunity to have a printer gives them the chance to use their creativity and make projects come to life. It would be so exciting to be able to share and showcase our wonderful writing and truly feel like authors.
