This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students are amazing, and really want to learn as much as we are wanting to teach them! My students are around 11 and 12 years old, mostly all from Latin America, and are on a free lunch program. Our school is huge. We have over 1,000 students and we lack all major resources. We go from PreK to 8th grade, with mono and bi-lingual classes. Lastly, we are in the fourth largest city in the state of New York.

My Project

We really need ink and paper for our classroom printer. Think about being a sixth grader and not being able to print out assignments? homeworks? projects? and other necessary things.

Our school library does not have a printer students can use, so it is up to the teacher to do his or her best in order to have supplies ready for students.

We also need paper so students can print on, while it is nice to have a printer, and ink, paper is the last big player in this project.

I hope you are able to help us! Our needs are so basic, but they are so impacting. Thank you.
