My students need decorations such as cutouts, balloons, masks, and beads to transform our auditorium into a Masquerade so they can shine like stars on stage!

My Students

Students at our school are stars who love to perform on stage. They love to sing, dance, perform magic, do karate, and just have fun. My school is a multicultural, Title l School, with an extremely diverse population. Our students speak many different languages and many of the students receive free lunch. Twenty-four percent of our students have special needs with IEPs and many are English Language Learners. Our school is a Leader in Me school which is focused around Stephen Covey's Seven Habits of Highly Effective People.

My Project

These decorations such as masquerade masks, beads, and Mardi Gras posters will transform our stage and will help the students get into character and feel at home when they are performing on stage for their family and friends. Audience members will feel apart of the show by also wearing their masks and beads.

Among our talented students are dancers, singers, comedians, actors, gymnasts, and many other talents that will be showcased during our show.

They have their acts practiced and ready to perform in front of their classmates, parents, and loved ones. The only thing that is missing is the decorations that will transform our auditorium into a Masquerade Party. Our stage will include masks, jesters, a red carpet, and all audience members will be wearing their beads. The supplies requested such as paint and glitter will help to create these wonderful scenes on stage. Students will be excited to "Unmask their Talent."
