My students are anxious to learn. I teach at a Title I school that is 68% free and reduced price lunch. Ten different countries and 9 different languages are presented at our school. Parents having difficulty in paying bills, much less helping to provide materials for the classroom.
The children need to be able to explore through technology the assignments in Reading, Math, Science, Social Studies, and Writing.
The students will be able to present their visual presentations and feel that they are each contributing by sharing their presentations. This also enables the children to build self-confidence and self-esteem in exploring the world of science, math, and reading through technology.
My Project
My students are very eager to learn. I need students to be able to see no matter where they are in the classroom. The document camera and digital microscope with enlarge the work for everyone to participate in discussions, show their work in presentations, and see models of work they are to complete. The visual examples will help motivate the students more.
The document camera and digital microscope will allow my students to use technology to help them with classwork and exploring through the world of Science, Reading, Writing, Math, and Social Studies.
These students need to be engaged in learning and every moment is precious. This will enable students to share their work with confidence and give the teacher the time to properly monitor all of the work going on in the classroom.
