This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

There are twenty-nine beautiful and brilliant students in my kindergarten classroom. Most of the children in my classroom have not attended preschool so this is their first experience in a classroom. Some of our children face many changes in and outside the classroom.

Along with school being a new experience for most of the children, about half of my class has entered our school system from other countries during this school year and are learning English.

I love my kindergarten students and you would, too!

My Project

Having good quality headphones for using with the laptops in our classroom would greatly benefit my students learning.

I love to encourage learning and building community though music, and interactive technology.

We use the laptops to reinforce topics we are learning about in the classroom. Right now all of the headphones I purchased at the beginning of the year are broken and the children can not hear anything on the computers.

Technology in the classroom is essential to student growth and learning. I know that new headphones that work would be a great addition to our kindergarten classroom and the diverse students who enjoy coming to school each day.
