Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My students have special needs in the areas of Autism, Specific Learning Disabilities, and Other Health Impairments. They come from a low socio-economic background. All families qualify for free lunches. All of my students have individual, unique gifts to offer. They are very active and energized. They enjoy using the technology provided by our school and enjoy learning using technology.

My students are funny, smart, cute and excited about learning!

I am honored to be their teacher. They brighten up my day.

My Project

My students are currently using the earbuds provided by our school, but their ears are too small and constantly fall out. They are having to hold one earbud with one hand and work the mouse with the other.

The headphones will be a great way for my students to focus on the activity and free both hands to manipulate the computer and mouse.

My students enjoy using technology very much and will benefit greatly from the use of headphones. Technology is used as motivation to complete assignments. They use computers everyday to enhance their skills in all areas of their curriculum.
