This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our classroom only has 10 headphones for 26 students.

I currently teach 26 very sweet first graders in a Title I school located in a high poverty and high crime area in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

All of my students receive free breakfast and free lunch. Many of my students come from homes where English is not spoken.

My Project

My students need 11 various headphones to listen to our Nutrition app games on our Nooks. With these headphones for my students, they can listen to the following apps on our iPads or Nooks such as Nutrition and Healthy Eating!, Eat and Move-O-Matic and Max's Plate. The headphones will help my students focus more on the Nutrition apps. I am hoping that the Nutrition apps will help my students become more nutrition conscious.

Please help my students get 11 headphones.
