Our classroom has 21 amazing fourth graders. The classroom is fully inclusive, including special education students, students who are learning English, and students with a wide variety of learning needs. With so many different learners, we really try to meet the needs of everyone. When asked, our class describes themselves as "awesome, caring, kind and respectful to others." We strive to see differences as strengths! Our amazing school is a Kindergarten through fifth-grade public elementary school in Nashua, New Hampshire.
My Project
We come from everywhere. Our students live in a globe society. Our classroom needs to read books about all sorts of cultures and peoples. Have a great selection of diverse books helps them experience worlds beyond our classroom's walls.
Putting diverse books in the hands of readers is powerful.
It lets students access all sorts of stories and cultures from around the world and from their own neighborhoods. By having these books in our classroom, we can read and talk about stories of people from all around the globe. Helping put books into the hands of students allows them explore!
