My students need books recommended for kids aged 2 to 2nd grade. These books will also allow my students to practice reading every day. They need an I Can Read set, a Green Light Readers set, and a couple Step Into Reading sets.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Imagine if you lived in a home with no books. Imagine if the only access you had to books was at school. Most of my students are in this situation, and it is critical that they have the opportunity to read excellent literature. My students need encouragement to become life-long learners.
I teach in a Title I school in California.
I have 22 children in my classroom and they are all beginning to read. They mostly come from lower sociol-economic homes and most of them are second language learners. They face many obstacles to their learning, but having good books at their fingertips shouldn't be one of them. I am trying to keep enough books in the room on their level that they can keep a few in their book box at a time. This will allow them to practice reading in their free moments.
My Project
I am requesting the King School books. The King School Series are leveled books for beginning readers. Featuring engaging stories, and lively illustrations, The King School Series will help my students read. The characters in the books are similar to my students. I'm also requesting other leveled readers for the students to enjoy.
First is a magical time, especially this time of year.
Just like the spring flowers are popping out all over, I have readers popping out all over the classroom. It is so exciting when a child realizes he can read an entire book. They get thrilled. My students love to read, but I have been teaching three years and don't have a big supply of books on their reading levels yet.
