I am teaching 2nd grade for the first time and I need to fill up my classroom library. These books would be greatly appreciated. I would love for all of my students to find their "favorite book" in out classroom library. These books would help me, help them succeed.
My students are wonderful readers who are always looking for the next challenge.
Adding books to the classroom library would help them and me reach their reading goals. I have chosen a variety of books that would be on level for all of my students. I would love to have my students tell me that they now love reading because of the books in my class.
My Project
I have chosen fiction and nonfiction books hoping that I have found books that all students will be able to find their "just right book". I have also chosen book series that students love to read and am hoping that once they read one from a series they will want to read all of them from the series.
This is so important because reading is such an important skill.
I want my students to be life long readers and learners. This would impact my students in class and at home as with a greater confidence in reading I believe that they will be more successful in all aspects of life.
