I teach in a full day preschool classroom with 24 children. These children live in a low-income area where many of them come to school without proper shoes, jackets, and food. Regardless of what's happening at home, these children come to school cheerful, eager, and energetic to learn and explore new things. I enjoy working in this area because it is so rewarding.
I believe my students are entitled to have the best education that I can provide.
My classroom is like a second home for my students; most of them spend more than eight hours a day with me. They use my classroom as a place for warmth, love, and to escape their troubles. As a teacher, it is very important for me to keep my children inspired, engaged, and passionate about learning because these young children are the future.

During the middle of the year, our basic supplies are starting to run low and need to be replenish. In our program, we implement GLAD to teach our young scholars. When we teach GLAD we like to use the Mr. Sketch smelly markers to sketch and draw pictures for our students so that they can remember what was taught for that day or week.
I to reward my students with stickers as an incentive when they are making safe and good choices throughout the day.
I thought that the smelly stickers would really be a hit this time sense I have never use smelly stickers before as an incentive for my kiddos. The other basic classroom essentials are all daily things that I used in the classroom to keep our classroom clean and healthy for my students. My classroom is like a second home for my students, so it is very important to have a safe and clean environment for my students and family. Thank you so much for helping me keep my students safe and clean so that they can come to school everyday.
