My Students

Our school has nearly 550 students, Pre K - 5th grade, that enjoy using the technology we have now in the school, but much of our technology is aging and no longer works properly. We have an incredibly diverse school with a large military population. Many students do not have access to technology at home and rely on our school to provide technology instruction at school.

We have an excellent, enthusiastic group of students at our school and we would love to provide them with more up-to-date technology resources to enhance their learning!

My Project

Our 5th grade teaching team has focused on new innovative ways of teaching this school year, such as small group teaching with iPads, students reading poetry in silly voices, making videos, students designing their own projects, and students writing assessments for each other in Google Forms to demonstrate standards mastery.

To promote collaborative learning 21st Century Learning skills, as students work, we would like them to be able to mirror on a TV to show other classmates their work, and even provide instruction themselves!

Also, their teacher will be able to mirror class announcements, videos, pictures, classwork, and any other class materials. This TV will be mounted above the teacher's whiteboard for the entire class to see, and will used throughout the day for a variety of student and teacher activities.
