A printer without a toner cartridge is like Van Gogh without his paintbrush, which is not very useful!
We are a Title 1 school located in a low-income neighborhood.
More than half of our students receive free and reduced price breakfast and lunch. I teach second graders. Despite many challenges they face, they come to school really to learn every day. They are curious, talkative, and interested in learning and exploring with technology. But most of all, they like to tell jokes.
My Project
I am requesting 1 black toner cartridge and 1 set of hanging file folders.
Our second grade classroom is located in the modular building along with upper grade classes. We share a printer that is completely out of toner. We have to go to the main building for printing needs. That doesn't sound so bad, but we live in Montana with temperature in the negatives and icy ground. We send most of our copies to the printshop with at least two day turnaround. Sometimes we just can't plan that far in advance. Having a working printer in the building will really help our class run smoothly. I am requesting a black toner for our printer. This will allow us to print assignments, students' projects, lesson plans, and more. The hanging folders will be used to store our important documents.
