We Need a Squeeze Machine!

My Students

My students all have behavior (compliance & self-regulation) and most have academic needs (reading, writing, & math). They spend the majority of their day in my special education classroom, but do get time in their general education. They are an amazing group of students that have grown over the past 3 years!

My Project

Almost all of the students crave deep pressure to help regulate their bodies, but I am unable to assist with those needs with the current sensory materials that I have in my classroom.

This machine will benefit all of my students current and future so they can continue to make growth in all their areas at school!

The students will be able to squeeze through the machine and feel deep pressure on both sides of their body, which then helps to regulate their emotions so they are ready to learn. Since all my students are in my classroom for the majority of the day or use it as their home base for a break, they will be able to have access to the squeeze machine when they need to self-regulate their bodies.
