My Students

Every singer needs music and right now my students are needing your help to bring out the music in their hearts.

My students are some of the hardest working kids, who have been dealt a very tough hand.

80% of my students come from a broken home and struggling finances. Many of them have latched on to music to bring them joy and help deal with their struggles. I teach a musical theater course within a high school. Unfortunately we don't receive funding, so I have had to struggle to make do with the little resources that we do have.

My Project

I am requesting a digital piano keyboard that will be used every day by scores of passionate students. We spend the whole year working on Musical Theater pieces and how to audition in a professional setting. Unfortunately without the use of a piano, the students do not receive the training for what they will encounter in the real world. They need a live music accompaniment to help them know what to expect. This keyboard will be the first gift these kids have received that will benefit their dreams of the arts.

We will use this keyboard for years and it will effect the lives of hundreds of aspiring students and artists.

They will also realize that there are people that care about their dreams. Thank you for your consideration.
