My Students

My class is comprised of preschool students who are receiving an education with funding from the Nevada Ready Grant. This grant provides high quality early learning programs across the state while providing critical wrap-around supports for children who live in families with incomes of less than 200 percent of the federal poverty level. These students' minds are constantly growing, and early intervention allows them a head start in learning.

Every day, I am committed to providing educational experiences that help our kids grow and that makes the transition to kindergarten a little bit easier.

Our school is designated as a Title I school, and I need items to help enhance their learning.

My Project

Every day, my children explore the room. This is when our children create, engage and learn. Our preschoolers learn while playing. This includes block play, art, building, sensory exploration, dramatic play, math, and music. I want to enhance our centers to increase engagement.

I want to enhance our play-based intervention by requesting art easel and art supplies for our art center.

Our kids love art and I want an easel to enhance this center! My students love working together in our art centers. I have students that choose this center everyday because they love creating art. This will provide space for my students to draw, color, paint and create anchor charts! I know that these items will promote engagement and help my students develop a lifelong love for the arts.
