My Students

My students are active, vivacious, energetic second-grade learners. They come into my classroom with unique characteristics, skills, and life experiences. They all have a common goal: to be successful in life.

They have big dreams, and I feel that with the appropriate tools, I can help facilitate those dreams.

This is our theme this year: "Stand Up, Stand Out! Hero In Training!" This theme is displayed throughout our school and embedded in all subjects. We believe that literacy is at the heart of all learning. We are a diverse classroom with one-fourth of my second graders qualifying for special education.

My Project

Our students are out for the rest of the 2019-2020 school year. I would like them to know that we miss them, care about them and that we will get through this together. Not all of our students have technology so a banner outside our playground where they ride there bikes daily and or drive by with there parents is a great way for them to get that daily affirmation that we are still here and care about them. Thank you in advance for your kindness and support during this difficult time. We will get through this stronger and ready for anything.
