My students need extra yoga balls to replace the damaged ones. We use our class set all day every day and have found that patching leaks only works for a short while.

Hooray! This project is fully funded
"Sitting still is overrated. It makes sense for the opera or for meditating, but in most classrooms and child care centers, it's given far more honor than it deserves. Children need to move." ~Tom Hunter, National Association for the Education of Young Children.
Our fourth grade class was generously funded with a set of yoga balls to use as alternate seating a the beginning of the school year.
They love their new seating! The students agree that being able to move in a physically beneficial way has made them physically stronger and able to hold attention for longer periods of time.
The replacement balls are needed for backup to replace the ones that have leaked. We have discovered that patches only hold for a short period of time. The students have learned to keep their areas neat and tidy to prevent punctures, but we would like to have a few spares "just in case". It would also be nice for us to have a few extra for classroom visitors.
Our fourth grade class feels these seats have improved their classroom experience by allowing them an acceptable way to fidget.
They report that they are able to pay attention for longer periods of time.
