My Students

Our little school has a great community of sweet students who really work hard. Our school has a very outdated library and is in need of a book refresh!

I am the librarian who assists across grade levels for all readers throughout our school.

Having fun literature to read and having the students read is vital for their motivation and growth.

My Project

Graphic novels are the "in" books for students right now! They are fun and engaging stories that make our students excited and want to read. I cannot keep these types of books on my shelves because they are checked out so frequently. I would love to add more of these types of books into our school library to give all my students the opportunity to check out something they want to read. It is so important to build our readers into enthusiastic readers that have a love for reading. By giving them engaging, fun books, we can continue to build on their reading foundation!
