My Students

I love my students because they are always willing and open to trying new things and implementing new ideas in the classroom and just all-around learning. They love reading new material, and they are always up for a good challenge.

My students are eager to learn and always interested and wanting a sneak peak of what I have planned either for a certain subject or for the day.

One of my students favorite things to do during the day is pick up a book and start reading. I love seeing my students reading so deep into a story that they can’t put it down!

My Project

The books that I have selected for this project will make a difference in my students' learning for many different reasons. First, all of my students LOVE reading. I am a first-year teacher with not many books to offer my students. Anytime the students get a spare moment, they dive into a book.

Next, the books that have been selected for this project can be integrated, or used to help teach other subjects such as math, English language arts, science, and history.

Some of the books can even be used to teach character such as kindness.

I want my students to love reading and continue loving to read and learn throughout their life. With the help of these books, students will be introduced to topics and ideas that will interest them for years to come that will keep them picking up good books about topics they are interested in. Many of the books that I selected are about animals, famous inventors, presidents, athletes and much more.
