My students need new books to continue their love of reading! These books were picked by the students! I also picked a fun writing teacher book to help with the publishing skills and needs of students!
My students are very important to me and their best interest is the forefront of what drives my teaching. Learning and loving to learn is important but so is having the resources for success.
My class consists of 22 amazing students who have a drive to be their best.
My school has 100% free lunches and is a Title 1 school. Out of 22 students, 6 of those students are ELL- English Language Learners. They are all hard workers and deserve nothing but the best.
My Project
Students in my class have a very high interest to read books. However, at this time of year they need some fresh books to read. These books were picked by students interests and I can't wait to see them unable to put them down.
When I see them read then take a comprehension test, with passing scores, it shows me how loving to read is such an important aspect in success.
These books will motivate them and get them interested in reading even more. We currently have almost 1,000 comprehension tests passed. These books will definitely help achieve this goal!
