My Students

I have an amazing class of 22 third graders at a title 1 school in Annapolis, Maryland. My students are not always able to go out and see the world, so I do my best to bring the world to them.

My students love to learn!

My students need engaging ways to learn and review topics in class. When students are engaged, they can learn anything. These reading centers would benefit my class by providing them with a fun way to read and answer questions.

My Project

My third graders love to read! They have recently become very interested in narrative nonfiction books that teach about history by telling a story. I want to encourage this love of reading and excitement by providing my students with as many books to read as possible.

A love of reading will last a lifetime!

My students love when we read books together as a class! After we share books as a class, I consistently see my students reading, and rereading, these books again and again to themselves. My goal is to provide my students with access to as many amazing books as possible.
