This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

During COVID-19 many of my students were online and did not have books to read, so now I am building my library in the classroom to help bridge that gap. While the students were at home online I discovered that there were many other ways for the students to learn and so headphones in the classroom will help me continue with using digital curriculum resources in the classroom. Having headphones for every student, and books for each student's hands will ensure my second graders overcome the learning gaps caused by COVID-19.
