My students need the Kindle Fire 7 Tablet for a literacy station that will allow them to participate in various engaging, learning activities that focus on reading and comprehension skills and vocabulary.
The students in my classroom are so very special. My students go the extra mile to show each other that they care about their classmates and their teacher. Throughout the day my students compliment and help each other out. Not a day goes by where they don't tell someone they are beautiful. When someone is not feeling good, they hug them, and ask if they are okay.
After participating in activities, they talk about how much fun they are having and how they love school.
Many times, the students have came up to me and said "Thank you for everything!" "I appreciate everything you do for us!" "I am so happy because of everything you do!" My students are very respectful towards other students and their teacher.
My Project
Each day, the students are engaged in rotations that focus on different skills in Language Arts. These skills include beginning sounds, ending sounds, reading words, spelling words, sight words, word families, and writing. The hands-on activities that the students participate in reinforce the skills they need to become effective and excellent readers. They practice beginning sounds, ending sounds, reading, writing, The Kindle Fire will be added to our daily rotations to allow the students to have access to many resources and books for independent reading, read aloud books, and vocabulary.
This will expose the children to a higher language level, more vocabulary, more language patterns, and will improve their reading comprehension.
