My Students

Walt Disney once said "We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because were curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths." Technology is continually progressing and becoming more and more prevalent in education, and we want to grow with it! Our class is filled with imaginative and creative students who are so eager to learn and explore more about the world around them.

We do not have access to only three hands on technology devices in our classroom, and most students don't have access to these at home either.

My Project

We need iPads in our classroom to be able to implement technology with our small group reading and math lessons. iPad minis will provide a way for my students to be able to explore, create, and expand their knowledge by using a variety of apps to let them discovery how we can integrate technology into our curriculum. Students will be able to utilize our new reading program through online content by reading their own guided reading book at their own level. It is also a great way to differentiate and let students read on their own level, solve problems at their own speed, and reinforce concepts that are difficult for them.

By funding this project our class will be able to incorporate technology into our standards.

It will be a great resource for differentiating students needs, and will give them confidence in being able to use technology to find answers, use their creativity, and help solidify what they already know.
