My students need an iPad and an iPad cover to research and create projects in our student-centered classroom!
This project expired on July 1, 2014.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Growing up, did you have a computer at your house? Unfortunately, many of my students are not exposed to much technology outside of the classroom.
I teach 20 energetic third graders at an elementary school in Georgia, where the many of my students are English Language Learners.
The majority of the students at my school are on free and reduced lunch. A lot of times, the students at my school have very limited resources at home therefore, most of the learning and retaining information happens at school.
I have created a student-centered classroom where students feel inspired to be the best they can be! In my classroom I have students learning at all different levels. In some cases, I have students who need extra intervention, and in other cases I have students who are on grade level and need to be challenged. This additional iPad will give me the opportunity to allow students to research and create projects on iMovie, Tellegami, and AudioBoo. It will also allow students to become fluent with multiplication facts and basic reading fluency.
This iPad will keep students engaged in learning and will provide so many opportunities!
It will be an additional resource that will really benefit each and every one of my students. Thank you in advance for being interested in helping the students I teach. After all, they are the future leaders of America!
