Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My students love to learn. They are smart and always try their very best. My students are learning many new things and for many of them this is their very first year in school. They are always smiling and love to help each other all the time. Many of my students speak a different language at home, and school is the place where they get to practice hearing and speaking English. My students are very proud of themselves and each other about the academic growth that they make by the end of the school year.
My Project
Having these reading and math games in the classroom will help my students practice the skills that are being taught in the classroom daily. Having the touch and read CVC game will help my students practice blending words. Number to 100 match up, and Nuts About Counting will help my students practice identifying and counting numbers.
Students will be able to practice counting, making words, and writing.
Students will be able to practice independently or in pairs where they will be able to help each other and make sure that they are getting correct answers. Counting, making words, and writing are important skills to have and will help my students be very prepared for the next school year. My students always try so very hard to be successful and these games will help my students.
