My Students

I have a group of twenty amazing four-year-old PreK Students. We are located in a small rural district in northeastern Oklahoma. The majority of the schools in our district are Title I. Our community has a very high Native American population, as it is the home for nine Tribal Nations. Many of my students are experiencing being in a school setting for the first time. We are preparing them and building a foundation for them to continue to become successful scholars.

My Project

We love our library, however, we need more storage space. All of our books are in bins, which is not helpful in finding a good book to read. Since we are little, we need a bookshelf that isn't too tall, or one that isn't easy to knock over on us. This bookshelf will also match all of our furniture in our room. It is also small enough that it won't take up too much room

It is never to early to install a love of reading in our littlest learners.

We are asking for a new bookshelf, so we can see all of our books, and pick the best fit for us.
